Whilst most of the team were riding the CDNW road race crit specialist Jeroen Janssen lined up at the York centre races which attracted a quality field including Olympian Ed Clancy.
Seriously outnumbered, JJ rode one of his best races of the year to make the break but lacked team support to contain all the attacks from rival teams, eventually coming home in 8th place on the day.
